Dr. Juerong (Nicole) Li, the Managing Director of Karltons Education, holds a  doctorate degree in Physics from the University of Surrey, UK. She is an active quantum physicist and her research is mainly on realising Quantum Computers. Over the last a few years, she organized and participated a series of science exhibitions, including the Royal Society Summer Exhibition, Brighton, Birmingham, Manchester (Big Bang Fair), and the BBC Stargazing Live event, etc. The total number of visitors to those exhibitions was over 80,000. She loves seeing children have their faces brightened up when talking to them about science and how life changing it could be to them. She has a passion in inspiring the next generation, especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects. She is also a member of the Diversity and Equality Committee & Marketing and Outreach Committee in the Physics department of the University of Surrey. She hopes that she can be a role model to women and girls who are looking to pursue careers in STEM.

李珏蓉（Nicole Li) 博士，英国萨里大学（University of Surrey，在英国《卫报》2017英国大学排名中名列第4位)物理学博士。Nicole本科就读于成都信息工程学院（二本学院，现已改名大学）光电子系。她不仅以3年得时间以年级第一的成绩提前一年取得学士学位，并考入北京邮电大学成为光通信专业的硕士研究生。在硕士学习期间的第二年，她成功申请到了英国萨里大学对国际学生的寥寥无几的全额奖学金。2008年9月，Nicole到达英国开始了她在量子物理专业的博士求学生涯。在语言和转换专业的双重挑战下，她以仅仅3年的时间（早项目经费资助时间半年）取得了物理学博士学位，并且她的博士论文获得了考官们的高度评价。2012年博士毕业后留任萨里大学物理系先进技术研究院光电子学研究员。目前她主要从事对量子计算机的研究和实现并管理由英国政府出资（EPSRC）£8.1 million的科研项目(点击这里查看详情)。她在世界一级科研刊物上发表了十几篇文章。除了从事科研工作，Nicole同时也是萨里大学物理系“平等和多样性”委员会（Equality and Diversity Committee)委员。这个委员会提倡人人平等；每个人都不应该受偏见和歧视，都应该有机会实现自己的最大价值。为了能鼓励更多女性（和男性）选择STEM科目，尽管工作繁忙Nicole 经常出席各种与青少年互动的活动，希望自己的经历和科研成果能改变他／她们对只有男性才适合学习STEM科目的传统认识。

Nicole有大量科技展会（science festival) 的组织和参展经验，其中包括英国皇家学会2011年的夏季科技展会，伯明翰和曼切斯特科技展会等等。科学展会是一个展示科学和技术的盛会，它具有与艺术或音乐节相同的新鲜感。活动可以是多样的，包括讲座，展览，研讨会，现场演示实验，有导游讲解的参观和小组讨论等等。在过去6年里，她组织和参加的展会访问者累积达到80000人。2016年4月，由Nicole设计和制作的Demo由皇室成员 HRH Duke of Kent (根德公爵也即爱德华王子)亲自参与演示。她也因此有幸被引荐给根德公爵（见下图）。2017年4月，她组织和亲自参与了BBC Stargazing Live节目和萨里大学物理系联合举办的科技展会，在短短4个小时的活动时间里接待了1000多人／次访问者。

在组织和参加科技展会的过程中，Nicole意识到将科技带向大众的重要性和必要性。她深深的体会到跟小朋友们仅仅10分钟的交谈，很有可能就种下了他们热爱科学的种子，而我们教授者对科技教育的热情有可能会影响他们的一生。她非常享受跟孩子们讲解前沿科技时，那一张张好奇的脸在听到满意的答案后顿时亮了起来。正是由于她对科技教育的热情，以及独特的个人教育经历和对中英教育体系利弊的深入了解促使她在2016年成立了Karltons Education Consultants教育咨询公司。公司致力于通过STEM教育理念与为孩子们提供第一手的科技研发信息，并利用自行设计制作的Demo将复杂抽象的科学简单易懂，激发孩子们对科学的兴趣。

Director Jason Mugridge has a passion to facilitate UK/China relations and as well as assisting Chinese clients in the UK would also like to facilitate more UK involvement in China, particularly at a grass roots level.

He has worked for several blue-chip companies including Zurich Insurance, American Express and Pfizer, and has a wealth of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service and Management for large enterprises which is greatly assisting Karltons development. Jason also owns and manages Karltons Estate Agents, which has extensive knowledge in the UK property market, including property investment, land / property sales, housing construction permissions, and housing investment refurbishment. Jason is proficient in Chinese culture and the business environment, loves China and is passionate about all things Chinese.

Jason曾就职于数家蓝筹公司包括苏黎世保险公司，美国运通公司和辉瑞公司等，有着数十年对大型企业销售，客户服务，管理等经验。Jason拥有并管理Karltons英国地产中介公司，有丰富的房地产购买，投资开发经验包括房屋租赁，土地／房产销售，房屋修建许可，房屋投资翻新等经验。Jason 精通中国文化和商业环境，并热爱中国是地道的中国迷。
